The Centre for Applied Finance and Economics hosts external scholars who work in disciplines that reflect the core interests of the Centre. Seminars provide an opportunity for national and international colleagues to present their work in progress, as well as engage in directed discussions about ongoing research projects and the research agenda of the school as a whole.
The Centre also hosts scholars for research collaborations. This can involve mentoring research students and discussing their projects, participation in new grant initiatives, discussion of opportunities for publishing, and reviewing journal articles and/or conference papers with staff and research students.
These activities align with the Centre’s objectives of increasing awareness of CAFE and strengthening its membership.
